Leveraging Project

IHRFG's Leveraging Committee seeks to encourage a greater number of grantmakers to understand and support human rights issues. We are dedicated both to increasing overall funding for human rights as well as to raising awareness among funders of the many opportunities gained by integrating a human rights framework into existing grantmaking priorities. Projects to date include development and publication of “Funding Human Rights: An Invitation” and facilitating numerous workshops at grantmaker conferences around the nation.
