Disability Rights

The Disability Rights Working Group is comprised of IHRFG members interested in supporting the protection and promotion of disability rights around the world. At recent IHRFG meetings, leading activists in the field have joined us to speak about the drafting of a UN Convention on the Protection and Promotion of the Rights and Dignity of Persons with Disabilities. The group seeks to identify opportunities for funders to contribute to this important, timely and neglected area of human rights work.

Together with the Disability Funders Network, IHRFG maintains a disability rights listserve. Members share information on current events and grantmaking news related to international disability rights. If you wish to be added, please send an email to DisabilityRights-subscribe@topica.com
